MAP Trays (Modified Atmosphere Packaging Trays)

MAP trays are food-grade PP trays sealed with a lidding film after the air inside the pack is replaced with a controlled gas mixture. That gas flush, not the tray itself, is what slows oxidation and bacterial growth — typically extending fresh meat, seafood and prepared meal shelf life by three to five times.
